What You Can Expect At Your Initial Evaluation:
1. At your first visit a physical therapist will perform a thorough evaluation. This will include a subjective section where you will be asked about your condition, functional level and pain rating.

2. During the second part of the evaluation the therapist will take objective measurements including looking at your range of motion and strength. Please wear appropriate clothing. For female patients being treated for their neck, back or shoulder this would include a tank top or preferably a sports bra. For knee and ankle problems all patients should bring shorts. The first visit usually lasts about an hour.

3. At the end of the evaluation the physical therapist will discuss the findings with you and let you know how many sessions you may need and how long you can expect the sessions to last.
